When I went to Ireland earlier this month, mostly in Dublin with a one day visit to Cork and West Cork, I got a haircut, had my shoes shined and heels replaced, bought a belt. The last time I bought a belt was in Toronto four or five years ago, because I had left my belt in one of the storage carts at TSA screening. That belt was starting to thread near the buckle, it was falling apart. But I got plenty of use from it, as it had a reversible buckle and the leather was black on one side, brown on the other, so it went with everything in my fashion repertoire.
