Brilliant recollection of what never was! You forgot to mention Pete Seeger's cousin Clark Seger. He wanted to use his middle name, Bob, but too many Bobs spoiled it all, so he remained as Clark. A portion of Pete's family chose to continue the family name of Seger, while the remaining family members inserted an extra e in their name to make it impossible to mispronounce (some fans were pronouncing it as say ger instead of see ger). Pete played some of cousin Clark's demos "Night Moves", "Like A Rock", and The Ballad of The Yellow Beret". The first two songs were about his experiences in a pacifist group and the third song explained the purpose of the group. Seger broke through with his "Turn The Page", a song about moving forward after the war.

I believe all of it. Especially the Three Bobs.
Thanks Greil, appreciate it.
