Talk Is Cheap is not just a sturdy album but damn fine, IMO, old friend. A real big fave of mine, never fails to delight. Keef & Co. were great on the tour to promote.
You’re right, Rob. It is damn fine, I played it a few times and it sounded great. Has a really distinctive swing to it, interesting songs, everyone on the record sounds like they’re having a great time. Lafite winos, at the top of the moment.
