Kitman forged the critical consciousness of many Long Islanders, including this one, that I forgot how funny he was. Made you proud to be a paper boy delivering his words!

Thank you Joseph. Surprised and pleased by the response to this "first draft" article I felt compelled to write. Marvin certainly stretched the boundaries of how a critic could operate. I learned a lot from him. As did we all.

Thank you so much, Karen. Marvin was a one-of-a-kind critic and writer: a well-published satirist before he became a TV critic. He still lives on the Internet, he was doing blog stuff into the 2010s. marvinkitman.com is a good place to start.
